Sunset Celebration Cruise on Tropics Boat Tours

The sunset cruise was well organized, no excessive waiting (in full sun), interesting presentation, great views and dolphins playing nearby! The only thing I would change is when the sunset was happening, I would turn the boat to its long side a bit so other people could take pictures. The same people were occupying the front blocking others the ability to take good pictures. Also serving free drink after sunset in the exact same spot didn’t help either, because the crowd got even bigger.

Friendly staff. Good value. Short trip to the Gulf. Beautiful amd clean ship. Rec. For a quick trip with the family.

Overall great experience , the music and they had a bar and the boat captain toke us on a great ride and with a beautiful view of the sunset

Busy boat but good views from everywhere. Crew were informative and a nice little drink of bubbles to toast the sun dropping below the horizon.

We had such a great experience on our earlier tour with this group that we couldn’t resist booking another—and we’re so glad we did! The Sunset Celebration Cruise was the perfect mix of fun, relaxation, and unforgettable memories. The drinks were great, the crew was friendly and helpful, and the views were stunning.

Our kids were thrilled to spot even more dolphins and were so excited to see Captain Dylan again—definitely a trip highlight for them! This cruise truly added something special to our Clearwater vacation. We’ll absolutely be booking again the next time we’re in town!

Beautiful Sunset, Saw some Dolphins, crew was friendly and fun. Music was good and we danced. Bring a sweater for the top deck once the sun goes down.

It was so great! Captain Jay and the staff were fun. The sunset was gorgeous and ee saw dolphins on the way as well. It was my birthday and everyone sang to me. It was fun

Our guide was very knowledgeable about the sights as well as entertaining. Everyone on board as far as I could tell had a fantastic time!

Very poor, worst service by booth operator lady. This was first time for us at Clearwater. Our tour was at 6:30pm - we went to the starting point address (25 Causeway Blvd.) at around 6:20, and there's no info about next steps and there's no one there. Found the booths are on the other side of that building and finally found the booth at around 6:25, and the booth was closed. Didn't what to do, asked around (we see tourists for other providers boarding their boats there for 6:30 trips) no use. Called the tour operator number given, got a message saying they're closed. So waited without knowing what to do and booth door opened at around 6:35, and the lady said we missed the tour because we're late! She was super rude and just won't listen, and shut the door on me. I never had such a bad experience, I don't know if she's being racial. She looked punishing us for being late (still definitely within 6:30) than helping us. I believe this evil lady single handedly can ruin this touring company with her bad attitude. I'll never recommend Tropics tour to anyone. I've asked for refund through Viator.
BTW, luckily we found another Sunset tour (MegaBite) nearby and it was great, very friendly service and we even saw many dolphins on the tour apart from beautiful sunset.

We saw dolphins and a beautiful sunset. The boat was touch crowded, but overall a great experience!!

When I bought the tickets the lady said drinks were included. They were not. But you guys don’t care because I live 1000 miles away and can’t do anything about it.

Cloudy day with no sunset but what can you do?😜. Tour guide was supposed to tell us about various celebrity homes along our Route but he said he was new and only knew a couple places. Should have been better trained. Older boat. Just turned out to be a ride down the coast. Luckily we saw many dolphins!

We arrived to a friendly Captain Steve welcoming us to the boat. Photos were taken as we climbed aboard the boat. We saw tons of dolphins and the sunset was amazing. Beers were 16 ounces and ice cold. Loved the narrative and the yacht music playing. Note: there is construction going on so give yourself time to find the location.

Great time! Fun tour guides. Alyssa was friendly and fun! As was captain jay and Kira! Sunset was beautiful and we saw dolphins!

Boat wasn’t crowded. Fun atmosphere. Funny jokes told on board. Free champagne toast at sunset was a goodie! We even saw some dolphins.

Beautiful sunset after horrible weather. I had a great time. Will be back, drinks were decently priced.
