Beach Umbrella and Chair Set Rental

We stayed at Royal Hawaiian and rented one of the cabanas at the Sheraton, number 9. As much as the website mentions water aerobics may cause you concern for some cabanas by the pool, there is no mention that the ocean front ones have a walkway in front of you and the cabanas don’t provide proper shade during the hottest part of the day. We rented a cabana to have shade. Needed to go to the bar to have lunch to get out of the sun.

We also did the umbrellas on the beach and they cost less! We will go back to them on the next trip. Go buy better cabanas that provide shade. Also get rid of the red and white towels with all the threads. Looks like the dog played with them.

View from cabana 2 at the Sheraton adult poolis 50% obstructed by a pool lift. This should really be disclosed before renting. Recommend cabanas 3 or 4 to avoid obstructed view. Photo is the half that is unobstructed.

Reserved chairs/umbrellas in advance which is what you need to do. Nice, friendly service. However, it is not something we would do again. The setup is quite a distance from the shoreline and we really didn’t have a view. Umbrella was small by most standards and barely offered shade for only one chair. $70 + tax, a lot to pay for what we got. This was through the Royal Hawaiian hotel where we stayed.

Kind and courteous staff, friendly and helpful! We used them three times on our trip and were pleased each time. My wife left her hat at the beach and they called us to tell us they’d have it for us whenever we wanted to pick it up. So helpful. Chairs were comfortable enough and umbrellas were the best we saw on Waikīkī Beach.

Highly recommend renting chairs and umbrellas from Waikiki Beach Services! They made our beach day so much more enjoyable and relaxing. The setup was super convenient, and the staff was friendly and helpful. My only wish is that the chairs were available a bit later in the day so we could fully soak in the sunset. Overall, a fantastic experience!

Great day in the luxe cabana at Sheraton Waikīkī and a perfect last day of our vacation. Highly recommend! Worth every $ spent.

We rented two of the mini cabanas (#8 & #13) at the Sheraton's Helumoa pool & couldn't have asked for a more relaxing time at the pool. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Views of the beach from #13 were absolutely awesome! Our boys used the #8 cabana because it was closest to the water slide & just a few steps away from Baskin Robbin's. Oh, & they'll serve drinks/food to your cabana too!

We rented a 2 person mini cabana at the Helumoa poolside in the Sheraton Waikiki. These mini cabana are dotted around the family pool so you can expect a little noise, hustle and bustle. We chose #11 which faced away from the pool, towards the ocean. We were quite happy with this choice, the only minor irritant being that there is a path between you and the ocean so you get a constant trail of people back and forth. If you want tru privacy - go to the cabanas at the EDGE pool (we did the next day).

There is regular attendant service from about 11am to 4pm with the menu essentially being whatever is available at RumFire in restaurant in the hotel.

Overall, a rental fee of $125+tax for the day is not too bad.

We rented chairs and umbrella at the Sheraton Waikiki. Staff is friendly. Just beware that your neighbor’s umbrella may block all your sun. We left early because of that. Disappointing waste of money.

I reserved 8 beach chairs on-line and paid in advance. The email confirmation said you had to be in line and present to select the location of your chairs. OPENS at 8am. I arrived at 7:30am and was told by the person setting up chairs to get in line. I was first in line, and at 8:00am, I asked for specific chairs in front row, and the attendant said those were already selected by a group of 14 people that came before opening selected them. I wasn't happy and asked for the Manager, she came out and said yes, a person came before opening and they accommodated him and let him pick 14 chairs, and another small group was able to select other chairs before opening. I was first in line at 7:30am and got 3rd choice and 20 chairs had already been selected. It was very disappointing experience, and the staff needs to review their policies, so everyone is treated the same.

Have rented beach lounges and umbrellas from Waikiki Beach Services for years. Delightful location and beach staff terrific!

I stayed at Sheraton Waikiki and Waikiki Beach services provided the services at the pool. I hired a Cabana for 9 days and it was sensational. The Staff were so attentive, friendly, helpful. The pool area is fantastic but made better by the staff - well done Sarah, Rusty, Tyler and all the other staff.

We have rented here several times. We reserved before our trip for four days, two sets each time. So worth it for some shade from the Hawaiian sun. It is first come, first choice so if you are picky with where you want to sit (first, second, third row) then you must get in line before 7AM. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Will rent again.

This was amazing - we got to reserve everything online weeks in advance-our umbrellas, chairs, paddle boards, kayaks, body boards, etc. Checking in and getting everything was quick and easy. The workers there were knowledgeable, enthusiastic , kind, and really helpful. They helped our day be fun and successful. Thanks so much!

This is a great way to spend the day at the beach. Lots of relaxation in the sun and plenty of time to play in the ocean. Reserved spot makes it easy.

This review is strictly for the chair umbrella rental. The reservation clearly states it's from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. We arrived late for our chair as our flights were delayed. We arrived at 4 p.m. and the desk attendants said " we are not going to give you the chair" we are closing at 4:30 p.m. and after I told them my reservation clearly says the reservation time is from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. so I have an hour left to use the chair, they made me feel so uncomfortable and they were rude and they said " you have 15 mins to use" after finally telling them that's what the reservation time was so for. They couldn't find my reservation at first either. We were literally chased out of the umbrella at 4:30 p.m. This is unacceptable! Staying at the Sheraton, we should not be treated like cattle! The hotel itself is so impersonal and big and then to arrive to a reserved chair that you are chased out of. Please keep in mind, sunset isn't until like 7 p.m. so you are left with no chairs for 2 hours. The service was unacceptable.

Super easy to reserve online ahead of our visit. Bummed you have to get in line to pick your spot (first come, first choice) but overall a great experience and will definite use again.
