What You Will Do

This is the first show ever to incorporate live surfing by using the 100-foot wide Wai Kai Wave in the performance - the perfect way to learn about the history of Heʻe Nalu (ocean wave riding) and Heʻe Puʻe Wai (river wave surfing). Be entertained, educated and inspired by Hawaiian and Tahitian performers as they weave a thrilling story through song and dance, telling the history of “Wai” (fresh water) and “Kai” (Ocean Water) in the journey of the evolution of Polynesia. From the mountains of Tahiti to the rivers of Hawaii nei, water has connected and sustained its people for thousands of years. The Wai Kai Show will take you across our great ocean, sharing stories of ancient and modern times. Join us as we surf through the rich history and cultural legacy left by the kupuna (ancestors) who navigated across the South Pacific seas.
