Amazing crew very knowledgeable about marine life. Hands down the best diving experience you could have in Maui. I would highly recommend this charter. This is a small group 8 divers broken in to 2 groups of 4. If you want a good person dive experience this is were you should go.

Captain Victoria and Divemasters Gabby and Rachel were amazing! Small group diving is where it’s AT!!
They took care of everything my husband and I needed. The dive was relaxed and easy. The boat was well maintained. It was our best dive experience EVER (dives #43 & 44 for us).
They were professional, courteous, and very well-educated about the marine life.
We’ll definitely be diving with Extended Horizons again when we return again with our kids.

This was a fantastic adventure! Captain Victoria and Gabi were the best - informative, attentive, patient, and clearly passionate about what they do. I went with my dad and my husband and we all thought it was one of the best dives we have ever been on. Gabi knows so much and takes time to show you all the little details - and even though she has done this a thousand times, she still got so excited! We loved it!! Diving in Hawaii is always beautiful, but it makes it even more enjoyable to go with an amazing dive group.

My son and I had a great time diving off Lana'i. The crew at Extended Horizons were friendly and professional, as well as educational. Loved how they had writing boards to describe what we were seeing during the dive and had a debrief after each dive to go over details of wildlife we had seen. Highly recommend!

This outfit is the best of the best. Extremely professional. Dive Masters Victoria and Rachel were great as was Captain Chad. What an amazing experience! Lanai Cathedrals is a must for any experienced diver. 100 foot visibility, minimum surge. Beautiful day.

Extended Horizons continues to be the group we measure all other dive groups by. Their emphasis on sustainability, safety, service and local knowledge is truly exemplary. Captain Victoria, Gabby and Rachel made this incredible trip smooth and easy. This was our fourth time out on this unique adventure and it is totally worth going again.

The dive guides and the boat Captain are the best of the best. Gabby especially. Talk about going beyond the call of duty. Pardon the pun but they literally took an old guys swan song and turned it into a virtual “SwanDive.” I’ve never seen so many Moorish Idols, Tangs, Butterflies, poppie seed butterflies in my life, and yes. Did I mention the Moorish Idols?

Great dive shop. My son and I completed padi advanced with Rachael who was great. Mala wharf and lanai cathedrals highly recommended..

Have taken Extended Horizons ~ 15 times to Lanai now and they never disappoint, great boat, great team, helpful with all your gear and great snacks/water. It’s the best boat on Maui!

Certainly, the Lanai'i coastline is beautifully and fascinatingly beautiful. The lava rocks underwater make for a unique dive experience. What I want to comment on was the organization of conscientious, educated, enthusiastic and fun divers that I had the pleasure of diving with on the Extended Horizons dive that I did last week. Capt. Victoria, Gabi and Rachel provided excellent safety and service, which was very important to me as I hadn't been diving in 5 years. They provided a great review and made sure I remembered how to clear my mask, retrieve a lost regulator, do a giant stride entry, and remember the times and PSI readings for a safe dive. They checked on us to make sure we were within safe ranges.

The other exceptional thing that stood out about these divers was their practice of conservation. I appreciate it that they are using bio-fuel on the boat, provide fresh food and water with no single-use packaging, and respect the space of the surfacing whales around us.

Your experience will be unique: maybe you'll see the broad stringray, giant moray, spinner dolphins and Spanish Dancer with the egg ribbon, or hear the whales song like we did. Maybe you'll see any number of other sights. But you will certainly be treated with respect by professionals who really care about the ocean and the sealife within, and about your safety. I hope I will again get the chance to dive with this crew...and Lisa, the terrific dive buddy I met here!

When I return to Maui, I plan to participate in the eco-dives that EH organizes that give divers a chance to clean up ocean areas that need it. That's an opportunity that I've always wanted!

Due to lightening strikes off Lanai, Captain Victoria took us to Moloka’i instead. We dove the Pinnacles for our first dive and Nemalu off the Maui coast for our second shallow dive (maximum depth was 35 ft). Captain Victoria and her crew of Rachael and Emma were stellar. They helped us with gear removal following our dive and provided a great debriefing of the sea creatures we encountered. I would definitely dive wit ExtendedHorizons again when back in Maui.

I have been diving with extended horizons for six years now. Eric and his wife Victoria have always treated me like family. I love the staff at extended horizons Rachel is so experienced in marine biology as well as making you feel safe in and out of the water. I remain very loyal to extended horizons not just because they have amazing Dive Master’s, but Eric and Victoria go out of their way to help you have the best diving experience possible.
The night dive at Black rock should never be missed. Truly epic.! They also run their boats on bio-Fuel and their T-shirts are made out of recycled water bottles. I bought a T-shirt there 3 years ago and it’s still one of the most comfortable. Amazing T-shirts I own. I also love that they have a great sense of humor as well as being very professional and SAFE!! I always do a thorough vetting before choosing a dive charter because of thr inherent risks of the activity and wanting to get the most out of the dive experience. I found several outfits in Maui but settled on Extended Horizons after looking at comments on multiple platforms (trip adisor, FB, yelp) and was extremely happy with my choice. Our team consisited of Capt Andy , Victoria and Rachel. I cannot say enough about ths team. Their passion for their work is clearly evident and their proffesionalism and attention to safety where clearly on display. The cathedralds did not disappoint and saw an abundance of wildlife that I normally would have swam right past if not for our guides. Living in Florida I am exposed to a lot of dive charters and I can say with out a doubt Extended Horizons is a top notch operation. Staff, equipment, boat were all top notch and well maintained. This wasnt just a dive but really a educational seminar on diving in Maui.

What a super company, wonderful staff and great dive together. The very professional team did everything well, had great briefings, perfect equipment, excellent safety procedures and were wonderful guides to superb dive sites. I went diving with Victoria, Rachel and boat captain Andy on the Lanai two-dive trip. Of the many dive trips I've done with many operators, Extended Horizons stands out above all others! Booking was easy, they were very well organized, they engaged us on our experience and interests before the dive, they provided thorough dive site overviews and their underwater tour guiding was fantastic. We saw tons of interesting animals, including many I have never seen anywhere else. In between dives they share a lot about animals and on the way back they go over all of the animals we saw, in detail. Above all, safety comes first and they made a point of knowing everyone's names, gear, interests, etc. Truly a five-star dive experience and we will certainly go back out with Extended Horizons on our next Maui trip!!!
