2-Hour Molokini Snorkel Trip

The 2hr morning snorkel was the perfect amount of timre to visit Molikini. The trip out to island was quick and we had well over an hour to snorkel. We arrived before most of the other tours and had the crater to ourselves. The crew were great and provided good & useful information about the islands and what to expect while snorkelling. If you just want to visit Molikini, I highly recommend this tour.

We loved the 2 hour snorkeling tour. Is an awesome experience. Lots of fish & we saw humpback whales breaching from the boat on our way back to the dock!

Redline Rafting was fabulous. Straight forward scheduling; vessel and snorkeling equipment excellent condition; staff knowledgeable, helpful and fun. Oh, and lots of fish to see. Overall experience topnotch!

This was the very best part of our Maui trip - according to everone. The boat ride out was fun, the skipper was funny and entertaining, and Molokini was (of course) stunning.

We wanted a short trip to Molokini only and this was perfect. Lots of parking at Kihei boat ramp. Guides Nick and Ali were fun and informative. The reef is amazing. Blue water like I’ve never seen. Lots and lots of fish and we saw an octopus (you have to look for them). The water was calm and swimming was easy. They offer flotation belts and full snorkel gear. 1 hour of snorkel time was plenty.

We had such a great time with Tim and Allie on the 9am trip to Molokini! It’s a smaller boat, which is exactly what we wanted. You’ll be snorkeling for about an hour, and the rest of the trip is the boat ride / instructions. It was a perfect amount of time and we would definitely recommend this trip to a friend.

Guides were great! It’s amazing that your not going out with a massive group of people it’s a fun boat ride that’s straight to the point gets you out there to snorkel and come back! Super fun was an added bonus that we drove around the back of Molokini I wasn’t expecting that! 10/10

It was perfect for just getting to Molokini and snorkeling. The boat ride was fun and quick; we were able to anchor very close to Molokini.

5 star rating is for the tour operator, the underwater scene would be a 3.5 star. Great tour, the staff was very professional and friendly. There are several areas where the boat can stop inside the crater, this tour stops at one of better locations. If you are prone to sea sickness, I would recommend taking something before going on this tour, as the boat can be pretty rocky once they stop for everyone to get off and snorkel. (Obviously not the tour operator's fault, just part of the experience no matter who you use.)

As far as snorkeling experiences go, this one was decent but not the best. I suspect all the traffic they see there has negatively impacted the marine life there. We did see several crown of thorns sea stars and some fish but the coral was pretty lackluster. It was nice to go once and see Molokini up close (especially the back side of it as you are leaving is spectacular) but we probably won't do it again.

Efficient. Quick and easy. Low key. Team was warm and helpful when needed. Perfect if you want a destination snorkel jaunt, without the half or full day commitment. Love that there were 2 morning pick up times. You didn't need to wake up at the crack of dawn if you opt for 9:30am departure.

Incredible experience! 10/10 would recommend and do it all over again! Tim and Nick were the absolute best and made our entire day. The snorkeling was incredible—so clear and beautiful. We even got to see some whales! Overall, a perfect excursion and we are so grateful we got to experience this!

We chose Redline because of their great reviews and smaller boat size. We were super pleased with the quality of the tour and the accommodating crew! Check-in was quick and easy. Chase and Katie were fantastic and ensured we all had a great time. They even took us around to see the backside of the crater before we put-in, which was cool to see. They explained everything without being long-winded or overbearing. With only 12 passengers, they had plenty of opportunities to accommodate everyone and to ensure all went smoothly. The snorkeling was absolutely amazing!!! We even got to see some whales on the way in. It was very much worth the price and I highly recommend Redline for the Molokini snorkeling trip.

We had a great time , saw turtles, whales and dolphins on the way to the crater and lots of fish at the crater ! Would do again

Terrific experience! Tim and Ari were fun and very entertaining guides. They offered a lot of education about the islands and marine wildlife. They also allowed time for us to observe whales, turtles, and dolphins during our journey to Molokini. Highly recommend!
