Love the Luau !!

The program was very professional and handled properly. Enjoyed having pre seating so didn’t have to rush to seating for position. Our table had a good mix of age groups and diversified geography which helped conversations. Everyone was fun. Complimentary leis drinks service and parking validations were also appreciated.
Spend your money at a nice restaurant instead.

We spent $483 for the Maui Nui Luau at the Sheraton Maui Resort. It was not money well spent. This event felt contrived and artificial. We paid extra for a front row table and probably got the same view of the stage as the other 400 people at the event. Apparently, there were cliff divers jumping from the rocks nearby, but we couldn’t even see the rocks, nor any divers, from our front row table. The food was a disappointment. There were several different dishes, but nothing spectacular or original. The chicken dish was tender and tasty, but the beef was dried out and tough. The cocktails were watery tasting; even the cranberry juice was diluted. Entertainment through most of the evening was mediocre at best. It got a little better with the dancers who came out in different brightly colored costumes for each song. The flame throwers were the highlight of the show, but not enough to justify the price we paid. Honestly, we felt like we were in a cattle yard being herded around because of the long lines. If there are options for a luau in a smaller, more authentic Hawaiian venue, I would suggest checking that out.
