Amazing show! Great for everyone :) we went on a Sunday night was perfect for the family! He was funny and entertaining kept everyone engaged the whole time. Thanks for having us!

We loved the show. Super professional and clever with entertaining patter between the many magic tricks. It was great for all ages.

Funny, amazing and jaw dropping. We were blown away by several of the magic tricks and laughed constantly. The show offers a little magic shop as well so you can take home a few magic tricks of your own. Small Intimate so every trick can be easily seen, crowd participation is always fun. Must see

This is a fun show! His magic gets more impressive as the show goes on, but his humor is great from start to finish! (He's very quick-witted - you have to pay attention to catch all his jokes!) He engages the audience to help out but doesn't make anyone feel uncomfortable. Great night in a great, intimate venue.

Very intimate setting, magic was good. Lots of audience involvement which is fun. Some of the humor maybe a bit risqué given kids in the audience. Like the whole BYOB concept. There were sodas, water, candy for sale at very inexpensive prices. Magician is engaging and a one man show, greeting people as they enter and managing front as well as doing the show. It’s in the colorful Boystown neighborhood-I wasn’t familiar with this area as a tourist. We enjoyed the whole experience.

It was a great show! Small space and open seating, so get there early if you want to sit with your group of 4 or more. Aaron was fantastic and kept the show moving quickly. He was VERY entertaining.

The Trickery was a fun night of adult comedy and mind blowing magic, great for a night out with friends. . I loved the intimate venue and how he interacted with the audience.

WOW!! We had a wonderful time with Aaron, Hoppy, and "Steve"! We didn't know what to expect but Aaron is truly a magician and can work miracles!! We are still trying to figure things out...

So funny and a great time!! His magic was very awesome and mind-boggling. He really knows how to keep the audience laughing and in wonderment at the same time. The jokes are super funny but also rated R (just to keep in mind if kids are present!). 10/10 experience!

If you like magic, this is a great show. It is up-close magic as there are only about 30 seats in the theatre. However, it is a very good show with some comedy as well as the magic. My husband and I were definitly the oldest in the audience (60+) but we really enjoyed it The BYOB policy is great and we certainy took advantage. If you forget, there is a 7-eleven down the street that has what you need and the theatre privdes openers and cups.

This was so much fun. My friends and I had such a great time. Amazing magic show that I recommend to all my friends and family when they come to town. Can’t wait to go again. I loved the small venue and how involved the audience was the whole time. My mind is still blown.

FANTASTIC!!! It is a small venue so it might be difficult to get the seats you want if you don't arrive early. I have lived in Chicago for years and came across Trickery by chance on Tripadvisor looking for something to do with visiting friends/family. The show is a little raunchy, but you're going to a BYOB magic show in Boystown so no surprises here. They are high energy and put a lot of effort into their show making sure the audience is having a good time. Their sense of humor is amazing and it is interactive with some crowd work. 100% going again. At first the ticket price seems steep but it is COMPLETELY worth it. There was not a dull moment throughout the show and the small venue brings such a fun element to it. Such a unique and unforgettable experience. Going on a date? Anniversary? Want a fun night? Trickery is your place! It's also in a great location if you want to do something before or after the show.
