We had a private tour with a very knowledgeable guide. We learned the history of the Garden District and we also learned about modern day residents of the area.
The best NO walking tour!

Pauline was an outstanding tour guide for our architectural walking tour of the Lower Garden District! She struck just the right balance of historical information, culture and current events pertaining to the homes we viewed. I learned so much about how the neighborhood transformed over time and got a good foundation for architectural styles and details. She is very knowledgeable and passionate about her subject, made it fun for everyone and answered all our questions. It was a perfect New Orleans experience - two hours flew by! Recommend highly!
Artie's Garden District Tour is Goldilocks
(tripadvisor)

Our tour guide was Artie and she was fantastic! She was warm and welcoming and loud enough to hear even on some busy streets. We loved hearing about the blending of the Spanish, Greek and French and Italian styles. The speed of touring was "goldilocks" -- not too fast and not too slow. The houses are beautiful but Artie made it much more fun! Thank you!
