Prepare yourself for a great afternoon with the Tour That Tastes Good! You will be greeted by one of our good-looking and brainy tour guides, who will be eager to escort you to historic restaurants with wonderful ambiance. There you will taste mouthwatering local dishes, such as Gumbo, Red Beans and Rice, and the Muffaletta sandwich. A praline for dessert is included! You will glide through our fabulous French Quarter, founded in 1718. You will admire historic St. Louis Cathedral, named after King Louis IX, who was truly a Saint. He led the seventh and eighth Crusades back in the 13th century. Across the way from the Cathedral is beautiful Jackson Square. If you are interested, the 1850 House on the Square has a nice selection of cookbooks and history books. Regarding the diverse architecture, there is no other place in the country like it. Greek revival buildings stand next modest Shotgun houses. Admire the wrought iron balconies and galleries. We welcome you!

Fabulous NOLA Experience!

Our food & history walking tour was fabulous. We had a big group - 12 people - and I can say with confidence that everyone had a fantastic time. Heidi was absolutely perfect for our group. Felt like we got a good dose of NOLA history, food history and fun fact nuggets about the city. She let us do our thing (plenty of big personalities in our group), and knew just the right moment to interject with tour commentary. Delightful. Highly recommend!

What a huge disappointment and waste of money. The tour was not well organized. The restuarants were not all prepared for us and we had to wait and our group was separated or stuffed in an alley. At one place we had to wait over half an hour for our food. There were 5 stops and at 3 the food was practically identical. Our desert was walking into a store and being handed a box with a candy in it. Our guide, although an nice man, was not that forthcoming with information and seemed tired. This was probably the worst food tour I have been on and money I could have used to eat elsewhere.
Great local foods to sample. Naif, provided the history of the food. My wife and I would highly recommend.

Naif, did a great job. We enjoyed his comments regarding local foods and the history of New Orleans. We enjoyed five local foods dishes. Each was excellent.
