Guided walking tour in the Cypress swamp viewing the wetlands, ecosystem, and habitat of the area I invite you to visit Gulf Coast Eco Tour to experience the power of nature. Discover the culture of the area while exploring the wildlife, ecosystem, and the habitat of the Cypress Swamp. Our guided tour is for nature enthusiasts and wanderers of all activity levels! No worries, we will be on a board walk trail exploring with an experienced guide, walking through the swamps and Mississippi bayou's, of the Pearl River. While on the tour get ready to engage in an interactive live demonstration of various forms of hydropower. Witness sustainable energy in action contributing to a greener future and learn about conservation. See nature up close and personal with its unique vegetation, and home to the Cypress Tree.

Detailed emailed instructions will be sent to you. Please arrive 30 minutes early. Please dress for the weather and bring an umbrella or rain jacket if it plans on raining.

Our tour invites you on The Swamp Walk giving you a birds eye view of the swampy marsh ecosystem with rich history of the past. Our guided tour is for nature enthusiasts and wanderers of all activity levels! No worries, we will be on a board walk path, walking through the swamps of the East Pearl River. If we decide to wander a little further, the board walk turns into a well maintained dirt path. We will visit a historical ghost town and cemetery, and see nature up close and personal with its unique vegetation and home to the Cypress Tree. Please dress for the weather and bring an umbrella or rain jacket if it plans on raining. While touring. You will journey through a dirt road and swampy terrain as well as a boardwalk path. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes. Please bring bug spray. Although mother nature takes care of most of our bugs, you may want to use it. You may want to bring a camera and binoculars for this rare glimpse of a birds eye view of a cypress swamp.

  • Suitable for all physical fitness levels
  • The board walk path is wheelchair accessible only to a point. To get to the path you are on a bumpy dirty road and it is your choice. You may not be able to complete the whole tour. We will also view a cemetery where you may have to see it from a distance.
