This was a surprise date for my girlfriend's birthday, and it could not have been any more perfect. The food was beyond expectations, the atmosphere was beautiful, and the services was beyond comparison. The only issue was that I was under the impression that gratuity was included in the price, but when I went to give the server an extra $10 for going above and beyond, I stated that this was on top of what they already get, and he told me that it is not included in the price and that they get flat pay, that the customer is to include gratuity when they are there. Unfortunately, I had nothing else with me so what was I to do?

Absolute favorite Hotel in Baltimore. Great Penthouse restaurant and speakeasy drinks in basement afterwards. Super central location to schools, attractions. Will definitely stay again and again.
