View Boston Observation Deck Admission Tickets

Extremely good. Views were great and the service was nice and new how to keep kids entertained. I would love to go here again.

What a rip off!!! $30++ dollars to go and see 2 empty floors and a view of Boston. I spent over $150 for my wife and I and 2 friends just to check out this new space. I miss Top of the Hub. What a great bar it had and table space as well, without a charge of $30+ just to go and enjoy a drink or eat. Please, turn all 3 floors into a 1)bar, 2)restaurant and maybe a small 3)dance club; and, nix the big charge to go up. No wonder the place had no line or people at the bar or restaurant on a Friday night!

View Boston was a wonderful experience. I went at sundown and stayed about an hour and a half. The views are beautiful. I do want visitors to be realistic about the experience though.
When you get there, you go straight up the elevator to the 52nd floor. It's indoors, glass enclosed. There are exhibits so you can identify Boston landmarks. Then you go down a floor via stairs (it's not very handicap friendly). The 51st floor is a glass enclosed outdoor space. It was a beautiful night when I went there. Stratus bar is on 51 and I highly recommend it. The cocktails were wonderful and you can sit outside to enjoy the views. Staff was very friendly. On the 50th floor is the gift shop that you have to walk through. If you opt for the voucher for the gift shop, make sure you have a printed ticket. If it's just on your mobile, it won't scan for the discount and I couldn't use the voucher I paid for.
Then you go through a long hallway to the interactive exhibits, which is really very cool.
Keeping all this in mind, I really enjoyed my time there.

While visiting View Boston on a Saturday morning, I had the unfortunate experiencing of dropping my phone in a small space between the wall and an observation platform. We contacted security, who contacted management, who contacted the engineers, who contacted supervisors, who eventually contacted the construction company.

When we were unable to retrieve my phone on Saturday by pulling up part of the floor in front of the platform that they use for washing the windows, I gave up all hope knowing that if we were anywhere else they would just shrug it off and say that they did all they could. But not View Boston. We stayed in contact with Rob who emailed us throughout our stay giving us updates.

We headed back home on Tuesday content with the fact that they had done all they could do to retrieve my phone but knowing that it would more than likely be laid to rest at the top of the Prudential Center until someone else came along years from now to renovate that observation platform.

Wednesday morning I received an email from Rob that said, "the phone has been retrieved!" The construction company who originally built the deck disassembled the platform to retrieve my phone and put L-brackets in place to block the gap so that no one else would have the same experience I did. Then Rob shipped my phone and refused to accept any payment for the whole experience (shipping fees included). If that isn't customer service, then I don't know what is.

I will forever encourage people to go to View Boston. Sure the views are great, but the people are greater. Bostonians are truly a different and wonderful breed. We had a wonderful experience and cannot wait to return!

We visited the Top of the Hub back in 1990 and had many fond memories of the view and were intrigued to see what View Boston had to offer. We spent a very enjoyable couple of hours and thee were fantastic views of Boston. We would highly recommend this experience. One suggestion, perhaps dim the lights in The View when the sun has set, the bright lighting somewhat spoiled the experience.

We decided to go to the observation area as it was a part of out GoCity pass. The reception area to get tickets was open with only one person to help with the process of getting tickets from the kiosks. Once we had our tickets it was a quick trip to the elevators. The elevators were really fun as they had LED screens on three walls which looked like we were outside going to the top. Once there we were treated to a 360 degree view of Boston. Unfortunately it was a smoky day. we could see but it was tough to see far. Also the windows were pretty dirty which i would figure if you are selling the view they would be washed often. When I saw the prices I was glad this was covered by our pass as I don't think I would have paid the normal price. The ride back down was as fun as the ride up again with the LED screens in the elevators.

Such good views, 360 degrees of Boston! Some of the best photos I’ve gotten of the city. Very cool exhibits with some informative aspects. Makes me want to go explore Boston even more!

Easy to access and friendly staff. Once on the 52nd floor, wow!! Amazing views. On the lower floor, the outside observation deck has a huge wow factor. We prebooked our tickets in the UK before travelling which made it easier. Highly recommend to visit here

Great and I would recommend this to anyone. I would love to visit during evening to see night lights probably.

The view were amazing!! We took a lot of photos. The whole of Boston is visible from there. They have also made the 51 and 50th floor very beautifully.

The place is amazing, nice view, clean and perfect to just relax. The staff is very nice and the bar is cute.

Loved this experience!!! Try to go at sunset, as it’s truly spectacular!!! It’s new & improved - you can view inside and outside and there’s a bar/bistro as well! Definitely worth the time and money!!!

A fantastic attraction. Visited on a Thursday morning - not over crowded and not so high as to make everything on the ground miniscule. A 360 degree panorama of this lovely city taking in the obvious sites - eg Fenway Park, the gold topped State building - as well as, thanks to the in situ guide Ben, a good deal more. Harvard, MiT, the road systems etc. All staff within the building helpful and charming.

Wonderful view of Boston !! Very well explained , easy to reach with a great bar !! You absolutely will enjoy it

Much too expensive for just viewing the city from above. The bar area will be nice someday but definitely not well stocked and served. Much prefer the old “top of the Pru”. Until the kinks are worked out , it’s highly overrated and overpriced
