What You Will Do

This is a fun and unique Las Vegas experience that combines local food with city attractions! Downtown Vegas is where old meets new. This is where the city first began and has gone through many changes throughout the years. On this casual, walking food tour, you'll sample small bites at several popular local restaurants, visit must-see attractions, hear fun facts about the city, and learn about the Las Vegas local culture. Make sure you have your walking shoes on! You'll start on one end of Fremont Street where you'll start your sightseeing and foodie tour sprinkled with bits of history. After visiting Fremont Street Experience, you'll wander off-the-beaten-path to discover where the locals go to eat and hang out. Guided by a longtime local and in a small group setting, you'll experience a personalized and insiders perspective into the local Las Vegas community.

Las Vegas Downtown

Start your foodie tour at the Container Park, one of local's new favorite hangout spots made completely of shipping crate containers. You'll be greeted by your friendly foodie tour guide who will take you around this gem, located just a few blocks away from the main touristy areas. You'll visit a few of the containers, each one decorated uniquely, snacking on creative dishes like a Colombian style hotdog or "Real Mexican food made by real Mexicans" and learning about the Downtown Project and how it's shaping Las Vegas into what it is today. Before you make your way towards Fremont Street Experience, snap a group photo in front of the 35 foot tall, Fire-Breathing Praying Mantis. As you stroll down Fremont Street, enjoy Vegas' iconic neon signs like the Ruby Slipper, Vegas Vic and the "Welcome to Fabulous Downtown Las Vegas" sign. You'll watch thrill-seekers fly down Fremont Street on the Slotzilla Zipline and be entertained by street performers, everything from Showgirls and Chippendales to drummers and magicians. After seeing the world's largest golden nugget on display, you'll stop at a food truck for its tasty North Carolina style BBQ, nominated for Best BBQ in Las Vegas. You'll continue your foodie adventure off the main street where you'll find many other local favorite spots. Tour through "the Jewel" of downtown, a country-western style hotel that houses some of Vegas' best kept secrets from around the world. This part is truly an experience you don't want to miss; even many locals don't know of these hidden treasures. After visiting a few more eateries, you'll finish your meal with something sweet at Gold Spike, a playground for adults. Feel like a kid again by wandering around the courtyard and play games like giant Jenga, Tetherball and Cornhole. You'll finish your foodie adventure just in time for you to join the wildside of Fremont Street starting to unravel as the sun goes down in Vegas.
