What You Will Do
This classic Santa Fe food and drink adventure is focused on Santa Fe's downtown Plaza neighborhood. You will explore Santa Fe by foot while sampling the best in local food and beverage. You will have a chance to sample classic New Mexican flavors, as well as get a taste of what’s new and exciting in Santa Fe’s food scene. Along the way, you’ll learn about the city’s long and fascinating history, with an emphasis on how Native, Hispanic, and Anglo cultures shaped – and were shaped by – the region’s unique (and delicious!) food culture.
This tour is designed with adventurous eaters in mind. Some food in New Mexico can be spicy, and while we can accommodate food allergies we are unable to provide "non-spicy" alternatives.
This tour includes a variety of restaurants, and is NOT focused exclusively on New Mexican food. We bring you the best of Santa Fe, which includes a diverse array of cuisines.

Great tour! Loved hearing about the history of the foods in Santa Fe. All the meals and drinks we stopped for were delicious and there was definately more than enough food. Lauren is an amazing guide as well. You can tell that she loves what she does. Highly recommend this tour!

Lauren was a fantastic guide and showed our group much of what the Plaza area in Santa Fe has to offer.
As a trained chef, she shared more than just the history of the food and its local traditions - she also shared insights into ingredients and cooking methods that could only come from someone with exquisite taste and study!
I highly recommend adding this tour to your next trip to Santa Fe!

We had a wonderful afternoon learning about, not only food, but a lot of history and culinary history about Santa Fe. It was a small group, a total of five, so everyone could get to know each other. Lauren our host was excellent getting us all to talk about our food likes and dislikes, checking for any food allergies. All total we hit four different spots around downtown. Food and drink at each spot. One was Mexican, one was Venezualan, one was Italian, and the last was a wine tasting. Our tour actually went over by almost 45 minutes, we were all having such a good time, and nobody felt like leaving. We were stuffed by the end of the tour, and didn't need dinner that night. Also, got some great tips on other restaurants around Santa Fe.
