Meal at an Amish home

We took the Amish Tour & Meal Experience. We were lucky enough to have Mike as our guide. He is very personable and knowledgeable about the area and Amish culture. His connection with the people of the area enhanced our tour. Our dinner hostess Catherine was delightful. She opened up her home and prepared a delicious meal for us. She sat and ate with us. We chatted with her, and she answered questions from our group (10 in our group). After dinner Catherine's husband gave us a tour of their barn and property. We met horses. mules and cows. To top it off Catherine gave each of the ladies on our tour, a jar of her homemade blackberry jelly. Yummy Yummy. Overall, a great time and would highly recommend.

The tour was great. The tour guide was knowledgeable. The meal was fantastic. The family that hosted us was lovely. Don't think the AC was working in the van, but it was tolerable.
