Such an entertaining and informative tour guide. Highly recommend this trip. Content and stories were top knotch

It was a really hot day but our guide, Erik, did his best to keep us in the shade. We learned so much oh that tour and highly recommend it.

We really enjoyed our tour with Eric who was very personable, he’s a great guide and incredibly knowledgable about so many subjects not just Charleston and it’s specific history. We were fortunate enough to be on a very small tour of 4, just us and one other couple, we were able to completely personalise our experience.

This was a complete snooze! Booked because the reviews were so great so maybe it was just the guide, idk but we left half way through and did our own thing. Really wish I didn't waste money on this.

Great tour! Our guide Robert was very knowledgeable and provide a great experience walking the streets of the historic district.

My favorite part was learning about the history , people , art , geography of Charleston with our guide Eric . He was outstanding !

Ruined a vacation day! I booked the tour and received confirmation for The Charleston Footprints Walking Tour for Saturday afternoon, April 8 at 2:30. I received a confirmation email on April 4th from Tripadvisor confirming the tour at 2:30 on the 8th. On April 5th, I received a text from Charleston Footprints Walking Tour which stated "Remember that we will meet on 2023-04-08 at 10:00." I responded to the text and stated "I am booked on the 2:30 tour." I didn't get a response so on April 7th, I went to the website and found their phone number (844) -433-9324 and left a message at 10:34 a.m. (the duration of the message was 55 seconds) indicating that I had received a text suggesting that the tour was at 10:00. I explained that we signed up for the 2;30 tour and requested someone call me to confirm. Also, on April 7th, I received another reminder from Tripadvisor that we were booked on a tour on April 8th at 2:30......We showed up at the specified meeting place at 2:15....no tour. I called the tour operator and told him that we were unable to locate the tour. His response, "What tour? There is no tour." I gave him the details that I described above...at first he said he had no record of me.
Finally, after several minutes he said he found my information, but I was signed up for the 10:00 tour....and responded quasi yelling at me. I proceeded to text him a copy of the confirmation from Tripadvisor, my text questioning the 10:00 timeframe, proof that I called him using the number on the website to confirm -- he denied it was his number -- although after we hung up, we called him -- clearly his number. I told him that we would post a detailed review on social media of our dissatisfaction/disappointment of the overall experience. He responded that he would reply that we simply didn't show up for the tour.

He was disrespectful, not truthful and rude. Further, his approach to his business lacked professionalism, organization and follow-through. Sadly, it was too late in the day to schedule another tour. It was my family's first visit to the area. We are history buffs and were excited for the tour. It was the ONE planned activity over the weekend... I do not recommend this company to anyone! There are too many other options.

We had a wonderful tour with Eric, who provided us with information about history, trees, plants, architecture, neighborhoods, statues, stories...you name it. He made it all interesting and fun. Great tour and highly recommended.

Well paced and historical anecdote packed tour w/ Alfred. We explored a lot of downtown Charleston and got a good introduction to the city!

So disappointed. We learned almost nothing about history with Eric. rather we focused almost 100 percent on architecture. Did we sign up for the wrong tour?

Linda was a wonderful walking tour guide. She shared so much history of the city and it was evident she loves Charleston and sharing it with visitors.

Wonderful walking tour with Linda providing a well paced, very interesting tour. Covered a nice blend of history, architecture, nature and geography. The day was perfect weather, flowering trees, bushes and planters. Very happy that she was loud enough and spoke clearly so everything was understood. Well done!

Experienced guide which was good, but 1/4 of way thru tour the guide made a racially insensitive comment and then tried to laugh it off. We immediately left the tour.

This is the same as Charleston Old Walled City Walking Tours on here. I left a specific review there, but it's a good tour. They aren't great on the phone, but don't be discouraged- the tour was great
