The ORIGINAL Ghostwalk of Charleston

I feel certain Tricia is a nice lady and truly believes the disjointed, rather silly stories she tells about ghosts causing Charleston’s street lights to flicker and showing up as orbs in the grainy photos she spends a good majority of the tour showing on her ipad. However, nice as she may be, I feel she will most certainly berate me for what I’m about to say here or tell me that I’m reviewing the wrong group (I’m not). She actually had me intrigued with her story of the crooked steeple at St. Phillips Church and the modern-day ghost haunting the near-by parking lot. But after that, the tour was mostly about conversations she has had with friends and family regarding those photos of orbs on her ipad. Well that, and her loudly chastising Robert E. Lee for not flickering a light as we stood across the street staring at the Mills House Inn. We honestly wished we had slipped off, gotten some ice cream, and walked down by the battery instead. It certainly would have been a better use of our time in Charleston.

Exceptional and fun tour as always! Trish is the best in the business! Her photos are amazing! Remember if it's your expectation on any ghost tour that you're going to have a paranormal experience, it doesn't always happen. I have toured with the majority of guides in the Charleston area and although most are exceptional, Trish is my favorite. As a part-time paranormal investigator myself, I find Trish refreshing and an exceptional tour guide. Her knowledge of the History of our beloved Charleston is worth going on the tour for, and yes we have had many "experiences" with Trish that could not be explained!

My husband is from Charleston and he's been promising to take me on Trish's tour for years. Had a really great time. Very knowledgeable and good stories about the history of the area. Would definitely go again and recommend.

Took my wife and friends on their first Ghost Walk in Charleston over the Thanksgiving weekend. We had a wonderful time and Trish was an abundance of knowledge! Being a local and history buff myself i was thrilled to hear and see some things I hadn’t heard before. Activity was minimal our night but did have some. Highly recommend Ghostwalk Charleston.

We were interested in the history not exactly of finding ghosts! Guide showed many many pictures of ghosts on her iPad! We covered the same 5 blocks back and forth to meeting places. We wanted the history of the paranormal events.

I couldn't recommend this tour highly enough. The extra level of care put into the customer service through the booking process was incredible. The tour day had thunderstorms and heavy rain but we received frequent updates regarding whether or not the tour would go ahead. The tour guide was easy to find via her excellent instructions. And the tour was exciting and informative...I was sufficiently spooked by the end of it!

Fantastic tour, my kids loved it - perfect amount of time, we witnessed paranormal activity. Our tour guide was a local Charlestonian with so much history knowledge. Would absolutely take this again and recommend anyone to book during their trip!

What a great tour! Tricia was so passionate about the history, the stories she had, and the images people captured in photos when they were on her tours. She even showed pics of her own ghost experiences. My daughter wanted a ghost tour and she was so happy with this one. Just bring water and bug spray.

Tour as advertised. Trish our guide was nice and the tour was an easy walk. You will get a little history and see a few historical places. We didn't get lucky to see any ghosts, but I did get an unexplained flashing light on a video I took at the cemetery.

Tour guide was enthusiastic but a little over the top. I didn't expect to see ghosts but actually getting to walk through the grave yards or sites would've been nice. All she did was show us a bunch of pictures on her ipad and lecture us on the sidewalk for an hour.

The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the area. BUT..For a hour we walked in a very small square, through 2 parking lots, saw the outside of a parking garage and 2 buildings and stood outside 2 cemeteries. And then there was also the theatrics of the guide randomly calling out for a ghost to flicker a street light or a light in the cemetery.

First the tour guide was rude and inconsiderate. We were on the way to the meeting area and she began calling and letting us know everyone was there. She had us going in different directions and was very confusing. We weren't late and started prior to the 8:30 start time.. My husband was having difficulty keeping up with the group and took an Uber back to the hotel. The Uber driver told him he was the smart one.
The tour itself is a waste. So hokey. Our guide used an Apple computer to show pictures of supposed ghost sitings. The pictures are easily created. Her stories were so phony. Nothing remotely believable, nor did we see any lights flicker or go off or doors slam or rattle.
Uneventful...

Tricia is an energetic and engaging guide. Her stories, and photos, were interesting and kept our attention for the tour. This would be a good tour to add to your itinerary if you’ve done history tours and are looking for something different.

Tricia was a well informed guide and made sure everyone found the tour informative. It was interesting to hear about so much background with many ghosts and this differed from other ghost walks that have focused on a specific ghost or two by location. I appreciated how the history of Charleston and the development of the community fit. It was an easy tour with no physical demands. Tricia was very knowledgeable and passionate about her craft. We thoroughly enjoyed it!

Bummed we didn’t experience any kind of ghostly activity but our guide had a lot of great stories and pictures. Wish it was longer

Ms Tricia is a fun storyteller with an amazing grasp of Charleston history. Having never been to Charleston before, this was a great introduction.
