Please arrive 30 minutes before departure time for check in. Check in at our floating office at the end of the long wooden pier. When you turn onto Simmons Rd. you will make your first right into our parking lot. Then you will walk down the wooden pier, turn left, walk to the Island Head office.

Island Head at Broad Creek offers round trip ferry runs from Hilton Head Island to Daufuskie Island year round. We depart from Broad Creek Marina on Hilton Head and arrive at Freeport Marina on Daufuskie Island. The ferry takes about 45 minutes each way, We offer a variety of day trip options. Enjoy a comfortable cruise as you take in the beauty of the low country keep you eyes out for some wildlife, the Harbour Town lighthouse, a variety of islands, and the famous bottlenose dolphin. You will arrive at Freeport Marina on Daufuskie Island, which offers golf cart rentals for rent. Freeport Marina is home to Old Daufuskie Crab Company, a great place to grab lunch, drinks, or dinner! The round trip options are: 9am-4pm 11am-6pm 1pm-8pm*Seasonally This is the schedule for March through October 2024 These tickets are for DAY TRIPS to Daufuskie Island, NOT over night guest.
