What You Will Do

Cooler weather is finally here! Book a safari hike today! Expert native Austinite guides will guide you on an adventure through various Hill Country nature spots. This is truly an Austin area experience not to be missed! During our Greenbelter Nature Co. safari's you will be shown a part of Austin or the Hill Country that we have seen the most people inquiring about visiting. Come and join us for a fun and easy hike through one of the area's greenbelts. The Texas Hill Country is growing very rapidly, and folks are trying to find some really cool places in nature to check out and know about for future swims, hikes and nature adventures. We explore areas along the Violet Crown Trail in Central Austin. Wisdom of the lands will be shared, such as Eliza Springs and Barton Springs, as well as the native plants and wildlife, salamanders, bobcats, and armadillos!

Meeting Point

There is lots of parking in Zilker Park for this meet up point. You can also bike, walk or get dropped off by ride share or bus.

Barton Creek Greenbelt

2 hours

During this Safari hike along Barton Creek, you will see a 1.5 mile(3 miles there and back) stretch of Austin's beloved "Greenbelt." Along this stretch will be a couple of caves and a couple of swimming holes. Twin Falls and Sculpture Falls will be scene along the route. With the option to travel another .75 miles to the Hill of Life or Hidden Falls up the creek near the Lost Creek portion of the Barton Creek Greenbelt.
