Sightseeing Tour of Dallas

Conspiracy theories and factoids were annoying but I suppose it could be considered as just being for entertainment value. The tour seemed to only consist of the assassination and Highland Park mansions.

My tour was scheduled for Monday, October 16, 2023, at 10:00 am with Mr. William from "Fun Dallas Tours," reachable at Phone number: 469-971-3692. At 8:16 am, Mr. William texted us, indicating that we should meet at JFK Memorial, located at 646 Dallas St, 75205, at the intersection of Market and Main. Given that we were new to the area and our location was half an hour away in another city, I promptly responded, requesting that we meet at 8:33 am to ensure we'd be on time for the tour. Unfortunately, we encountered difficulty finding a parking spot in the downtown area, leaving us in a rush to reach our appointment.
At 9:52 am, I sent a text to Mr. William and also spoke to him over the phone to inform him of our situation. Despite our best efforts to arrive half an hour early to account for any unexpected delays, we still faced inconveniences.
Upon reaching the tour location, we spotted Mr. William, and he recognized our group, waving to us. We attempted to open the tour van's door to board, but to our surprise, Mr. William exited the vehicle and sternly scolded us for doing so. The tone of his reprimand was quite shocking, as we had expected a warm welcome from a tour organization, not to be scolded like children. To make matters worse, he inquired from where we are from?
Our meticulously planned and expensive tour, which had entailed a significant amount of travel and vacation planning, was marred by this experience. We were thoroughly disappointed by the lack of professionalism and courtesy displayed and believe that this situation needs to be addressed and rectified.

The tour was good. They spent alot of time (about 30 min) talking about the JFK killing before we even left the curb. We could have covered a few more spots with that time. We didn't stop for pictures at the Pegasus statue or the eyeball. We didn't pass close to the reunion tower, the train station, City Hall or the Margaret Hill Bridge or any of the Dallas murals (except at Deep Ellum). We did visit Highland Park and Deep Ellum which were not on our list.

Beautiful city. Lot of history. Tour guide Dan was fantastic and was very informative. The assassination of JFK story was interesting. The Pioneer Plaza with the longhorn cattle was interesting

Great history! Lots of shops and restaurants to choose from! You even get to sit on o Long Horn Steer! Vert enjoyable.

I moved to the area recently and never go to downtown Dallas. I had some friends come into town and this was Perfect for all of us to get a good overview of Dallas. It’s been hot so this was perfect to sit in an air conditioned van and take in the sights. Our driver was engaging, funny and knew a lot about Dallas history . We had chances to get out to take pictures. We did it on a Sunday afternoon which was good cause minimal traffic. We had a small group in the van and it was just enough. It was approximately 3 hours long and it was a great way to spend an afternoon.

We had limited time in the city and this was a great way to get a taste of many different areas! A huge plus was the air conditioned van, as it was 100+ degrees the day we went!

Orlando was a great tour operator, very informative of the history of Dallas and very passionate about the city he has lived in all his life, tour takes you all over Dallas

Preston was so knowledgeable and friendly. I learned so much about Dallas and president Kennedy. If I only had one tour to take this would be it!

I think having Matt as our tour guide was the best thing. He was so welcoming and smiling. Loved the Salam part of our welcome.
He had so much knowledge that it was unbelievable. But the most amazing part was how he spun all that knowledge in a story, and the way he told everything it seemed like it was happening right infront of our eyes. He would make an excellent history professor. :p

He was very funny and i loved his jokes and anecdotes. One could tell he loves what he does, as he pours his heart into it.
Absolutely loved every bit of it. So grateful to God we got to do this tour.

William was a good tour guide and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, he’s a smoker and the heavy smell of smoke overwhelmed the van. He was driving and I was sitting in the second to the last row in the back and I could still smell it. I highly recommend getting some car air fresheners that will mask that smell.

The tour was very educational and informative. Learned a lot about the city and history. Would recommend it to anyone that visits the city

Great overview of the city. Our guide was funny and kept our attention. We had a blast. He was very knowledgeable about the different areas of Dallas and the history.

Seeing Jerry Jones wall!!! But Orlando was the best tour guide ever, he was very informative and should us a great time.
