RVATukTuk Sightseeing Tour of Richmond

The best way to experience Richmond, VA. We got to see everything and learned so much from our guide. Definitely the best way to see the Hollywood Cemetery which is huge. We would never have been able to see everything walking and wouldn't have really felt a part of it in a car. Really enjoyed the tour.

It was only memorable because it was quite cold! The fan area is lovely! Hayden, the guide has little knowledge of Richmond history, virtually no comments or facts to share. No history on the fan district, Shockoe Bottom, slave trade, civil war or Poe. Thank goodness I did some internet research on Richmond history prior to the tuk tuk tour. My group of 3 was really disappointed in the Richmond tour.

I would recommend that they would provide us with a simple map of where the attractions were in the city. I will do it again when I have out of town guests!

Our guide was great. This was such an excellent way to explore the city of Richmond. We learned a lot about the history of the city and the culture of its current residents.

We hired RVATukTuk for our wedding as our exit vehicle. They decked out the TukTuk in wedding decor and it was a really unique way to end our evening. Our driver took us around the Fan so we could make a grand entrance to our after party in Scott's Addition. It was super easy working with Lyndsi who accommodated our special requests. Way more fun than a town car! Highly recommend.

Four of us went on this TukTuk tour of Richmond, VA. Relaxing and very informative.
The owner/driver was very knowledgeable and seemingly unrushed. We toured each of the major neighborhoods and historic sites of this very diverse city. Very enjoyable. The only drawback is that the vehicle is a little tight for those 6-feet or taller (with long legs). And it was a bit difficult to get into for older passengers. But a very, fun nearly two-hour tour!

Our group of 4 did the Halloween lights tour and it did not disappoint. It was so much fun riding around looking at the lights and waving at everyone we passed. You are able to get out and look at the lights closer or stay in the car- we opted to get out to look at a few houses closer (like the Harry Potter House on Floyd). HIGHLY recommend TukTuk and are thinking about booking another tour soon!

What an AMAZING experience! We did the city tour and it was the best thing we did on our visit to Richmond! Our guide was so wonderful and knowledgeable. We had such fun riding around, and we saw much more than we would have by foot. My only wish is that I would have booked more of their tours. Don’t hesitate!

We went on a fun, laid back cruise around the Fan. The Driver was great. I'm sure we'll do it again and I would recommend it to friends.

I took the TukTuk tour alone while on my first trip to Richmond. My tour guide was originally from NYC, but had lived in Richmond for around 7+ years. His perspective as a person moving here was refreshing. He was very knowledgeable about the neighborhoods, the history, and the current state of things. Very well done. My tour started out on a sunny day, and ended up in a big downpour of rain, but the TukTuk kept us dry and the tour was just as nice.

We had a wonderful experience! Our driver, Chris, made our time roaming the streets of Richmond unforgettable. From the great conversation to the treats we received on our 4 stop bakery tour, I would 10/10 recommend this experience.

Disappointed in our tour. We had high hopes of showing first time visitors our city and let them hear stories and facts about Richmond. That didn't happen. Our guide was nice and friendly, but had little knowledge of the city and its history. He gave vague answers to our questions or didn't know the answer. It would have been so much more interesting if he would have given us stories/facts about various places we passed on our way to the historic sights. We could have driven our guests in our car and pointed out the various sights ourselves.

Our guide Caitlin was terrific in every way!!! She was knowledgeable, personable and very attentive to our needs!!!!
