Throughout our walking tour, we’ll be passing by some interesting landmarks in Fremont, including a historic canal, modern-day tech headquarters, some truly bizarre outdoor art, and the famous Fremont Troll.

Depending on how much we’re enjoying our drinks at each stop, we may have an opportunity to pass by this unusual addition to Fremont’s outdoor sculpture collection and hear about how it ended up here and the controversy it has sparked over the years.

Lake Union
Along our walk, you might spot this lake filled with houseboats and commercial fishing vessels and with many viewpoints with city skyline views.

Theo Chocolate
You’ll likely smell this historic building before you see it, as everyday the factory produces some of the best chocolate found in Seattle.

We may pass under this sculpture that’s part of a collection of Fremont’s space-themed outdoor art.

Fremont Canal Park
Our tour may briefly route past this park that stretches alongside the Fremont Canal, where year-round you can spot kayakers, rowers, and commercial and private ships passing by.

The Fremont Troll is a beloved statue under the Aurora Bridge and numbers among the more curious art found in the Fremont neighborhood. Stop here with your tour guide to get a troll selfie and learn the story behind this mythological monument.
