Smith Tower Straight Up Observatory Access Ticket

Good view of the downtown Seattle skyline. An interesting part of Seattle history. I went on this tour years ago. While some things haven't changed. Some new buildings have been added since the last time that I visited Smith Tower.

This was an absolutely wonderful experience and all the staff were so helpful and friendly. We wanted to do the Talking Tower tour but the guide wasn’t available at first, so we had plenty of time to look round at all the fabulous displays and artefacts and have coffee beforehand. We then had a fascinating tour where our knowledgeable guide (for just the two of us) brought the stories of the people and building to life.
Can’t recommend a visit to this incredible place highly enough!

The hours on the ticket were incorrect. We went at 8pm thinking the Tower closed at 10pm. Upon arrival we were informed the hours on the website were incorrect.

Richard(Dick) did a fun informative narrative of the Smith Tower building. It was worth getting the tour and not just doing it on your own unless you just go for the view. We enjoyed our bar drinks and viewings of the city and mountain ranges. It was sunny and 65 today with great views.

Love smith tower. What a great place to get a drink and check out the city. Our server (Wanda) was amaizng and took care of us so much. Their Old Fashion was great along with the rest of their drinks. The food looks good but we didn't get any of it. Will def hit this place again.

This was a very interesting spot especially at night to see all the city lights. The speak east bar atmosphere was phenomenal. The food and drinks were fabulous. The elevator ride to the top just made me feel like I was walking out or into an old movie!

If you want to see Seattle, I highly recommend Smith Tower (“Tower”). The Tower in the earliest day was the tallest building before the Space Needle. I got lucky on the day of my visit. There were hardly people. At first , they’re four (4) people but we didn’t come at the same time on the elevator. I ended up having the observatory and the bar for myself. I have been to different observatories around the world, this was the first time I had it for myself. You’ll pass the historical figures resided in the It was brilliant idea to see the Seattle City streets from above. I saw the iconic or landmark structures esp the old ones. You can see the Mt. Rainier farther, the islands, the ferries, harbour, Chinatown, pier or ports, the historical areas of Seattle, old & modern architectural buildings, etc. The current tallest building is the Columbia Centre. That will be my next observatory I will visit.

The view, of course, was breathtaking, but the whole experience is building up to it: from the theatrical intro by the admission guy to impeccably preserved inside the offices and the elevator. Don't miss the chance to have a drink at the bar on the 35th floor.

I paid the VIP access $125, totally worthless! Incompetent staff they provided incorrect directions, nothing but a scam, shame shame shame! A must miss !

Beautiful historical building, the elevators are so gorgeous. Nice view, went at night and there was only us. Very romantic to grab a drink at the bar. The price is fair and way less touristy then Space Needle.

Wonderful 360 degree view. Reserved table, food and drinks available. Can stay a long time if desired, light rail access only one block away.

Have taken up multiple friends to the observation deck for drinks and it never disappoints. Donny and Sylv always make the introduction to the tower a fun experience, which takes you through the history of the building from 1914.

All the bartenders know their cocktails, especially Brennan! Killer views of the city and the Puget Sound, especially at sunset. Definitely recommend, especially for a date night, a friends outing, or even if you're just a history nerd!

Very interesting tower, so much more than a view. The exhibits tell the story of the tower's history using an interactive format, putting yourself in the mind of a key historical figure. The layout is authentic and really adds to the experience - including an old elevator. The rooftop bar had a decent drinks selection and most importantly a great view over the city from the observation deck. Staff were brilliant throughout.

Great views from the observation deck. Fun becoming a character for the interactive game. It made viewing the interior a more entertaining experience. Beautiful architecture. If you stop at the bar for a drink, Shyann is a great server and pleasant to talk to. She gave us a lot of information. Found out about the tower while taking the Beneath the Streets walking tour. Glad we visited.

Great trivia game and observation deck food and drinks and views terrific. Outstanding friendly service and decor at the restaurant was beautiful-

Have a few drinks in the historic bar. Walk outside with no glass between you and the Seattle skyline. Watch the sunset while feeling the breeze.

All staff we can't in contact with were gracious and very informative on the history of Smith Tower. The elevator attendant was great at explaining the engineering and our server was great in letting us know about the decor of the space. Loved this visit!
