What You Will Do
Olympic National Park is well known for having several different ecosystems to explore: subalpine forest, wildflower meadows, temperate rain-forest, and the rugged Pacific Shore. This twelve hour tour allows you to sample each of these systems with the added advantage of having an experienced guide to answer any questions that may arise. Come explore tide pools along the coastal beaches, roam among old-growth forest, trek atop mountain ridges with breathtaking vistas and stand by glacier-birthed rivers and lakes. The tour begins on a leisurely ferry boat ride over the Puget Sound to the Olympic Peninsula. The exact itinerary will be curated by the tour guide however our first stop will usually find us at Hurricane Ridge where you will hike to an incredible view of the valley below and the snow-capped mountains in the distance. We will move on to Crescent Lake and the seasonally Sol Duc Valley, and a sandy beach along the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Please plan on walking six miles.

A wonderful way to get a taste of the peninsula

Kevin was excellent, we learned so much about the area and its history, and he managed the busy schedule and timing really well. New 20-ish seat bus was comfortable, which was great as it’s a long day (7am to 8pm)
There was about 90 mins of light walking total in the day - it would have been useful to have this info in advance.

We traveled through the Olympic national park and it was a hassle free experience. We wandered through to different falls and had short treks and had lunch by lake crescent.

We saw mountains (snow), lakes, rivers, waterfalls, beach and even a rainbow to end the day! I took my 15yr old daughter. It was a long day so know that in advance and a lot of travel time but all completely worth it. Bus was nice and comfortable. Picked up at 7am dropped off ab 8:30pm. You can’t predict the ferries perfectly.
