St Thomas Night Kayak Tour

I had booked the 6:30 night kayak tour for 5 people. I received confirmation and waiver forms to complete. When we got there no one was there other than another wanting to take the tour. I eventually called them and they informed me that they weren’t running that night even though I had confirmations. We were very disappointed. They did refund our money but it wasted 3 hours out of our vacation. Will not book with them again.

Awesome experience. Devon and Eivin were fun, knowledgeable, and great guides. Tour really incorporated and encouraged a love and appreciation for the nature and history of the island.

When we asked the taxicab driver to take us to the Mangrove Virgin Islands Ecotour location, he was confused and wondered if this was what we actually wanted to do at night. We said that was correct, and he laughed. This made us a bit hesitant, and we began questioning our decision, but we made the right choice.
We got there, completed the paperwork, waited until the tour time began, and then started the adventure. Our tour guide Devon (Dev-on), was really great. One could tell that he really loved this tour and the area. He was so good at helping everyone feel safe and confident with the kayaks. He was very good at staying with the group. He was a fantastic storyteller and did an excellent job at explaining the mangrove trees, their significance, and other information about the wildlife we encountered. I don't want to say anymore or I'd ruin all of the fun, but all of us really enjoyed the entire experience! Don't forget to give your tour guide a tip!

The guide is friendly and talkative. He has a lot of stories. However i hope to see more creatures from the night sea…

Spectacular, Breathtaking, simply amazing are just a few words to describe this wonderful experience on the STT Night Kayak Tour with Mr. Devon. I was very afraid to go through with this amazing adventure, but Devon made everyone feel safe and secure. He took the time to instruct us on how to properly use and operate our kayaks. He had a wealth of knowledge about the different mangroves, (red, white, black and buttonwood), and sea life. We got to see and touch the upside-down jellyfish, Cassiopea.

The haunting storying telling was spooky but hilarious because at one point during the story, a fish bat came flying out of nowhere startling everyone, adding much suspense and excitement to the ghost stories.

The most amazing part of the tour was when we turned off our lights and experienced the absolute silence of the mangrove and see the beauty of the night sky.

I most definitely will be back to experience this tour in the daytime where I can visit Cast cay, stingray alley, walk on the reef and try to snorkel. Hopefully

This was an amazing experience that I would highly recommend. We went out with some friends and had a great time. We saw bats flying along the water, crabs, jellyfish, a heron sitting in the mangroves, nurse shark, and a barracuda. The stories were educational and drew you in giving you an immersive experience that was unforgettable. It truly was the highlight of our trip!

My partner and I were on our honeymoon trip to St. Thomas, and the St. Thomas Night Kayak Tour quickly became the highlight of our entire stay. This tour was like no other - an incredibly cool and unique experience kayaking in the middle of the night!

Difficult to find the words to truly describe the beauty and magical ambiance of the Lagoon, the easy part is talking about the staff. To Devan and Joseph….you guys truly made this experience an unforgettable one. The knowledge about the ecological benefits the Lagoon provides to Saint Thomas and the Caribbean Sea. The creatures within it as well as the historical facts of the Island……all was easily presented for everyone to enjoy. Hope you also get to enjoy the many stories Devan is willing to share…especially those not so easy explain…..the quiet and mysterious setting is perfect…do not be too surprised if you walk away experiencing a sound or a vision your mind won’t be able to logically made sense of. highly recommend!!!! We truly had a great time!!!

We had an absolutely fantastic time on our nighttime kayak tour! Devon, our guide, was not only incredibly knowledgeable about the area but also a mesmerizing storyteller with a great sense of humor. We had the chance to witness some unique fish, including one that hilariously jumped out of the water and bumped Devon and another guest! (Don't worry they were okay!) Standing on a dried-up coral reef, we were captivated by the fascinating pirate stories from the region. This tour is highly recommended for its uniqueness and the sheer fun it offers!

Devon was our guide & he made the whole night time kayak experience fantastic!!!!! The views, the information & the overall experience was top notch. We felt like we were kayaking with family. Devon even took a massive fish deemed “cougar fish” to the side. Like it was walking on water! Highly, strongly, hilariously recommended this company and Devon!!

Devon and Elvin did a great job! They told us a lot of great stories and really did their best to make the trip fun. We got to see some amazing things and kayaking at night in St. Thomas is quite an experience. Our entire family said it was the highlight of our trip to this point.

We had an amazing experience night kayaking through the mangroves with our guide Devon! He was very knowledgable about the mangroves and environmental science! My husband and 3 teenagers/young adults really enjoyed the tour and we all learned some very cool facts about mangroves, upside down jellyfish (cassiopeia) and the manchineel tree. It was a real treat to see the Southern Cross constellation in the night sky. Thank you Devon! Your knowledge and passion for the local environment was evident and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour. We definitely recommend this experience.
