What You Will Do
Sydney’s Chinatown is full of secrets and excellent restaurants, and on this experience, you’re going to see and taste a bit of everything!
On this tour you’ll sample a range of street foods and snacks from some of Chinatown’s best restaurants, with a minimum of 4 food samples included. All samples are snacks or street foods that represent different parts of China and are designed to be eaten on the move. Vegetarians, vegans and guests with other dietary requirements are more than welcome – just let us know in advance.
This tour has a strong focus on uncovering Sydney’s long connection with China, and the contributions Chinese-Australians have made to the community. You’ll learn more in 2.5 hours about Australia’s Chinese community than you could possibly imagine, and “pub trivia” style games will keep it interactive and fun.
At the end of the tour, you’ll get a souvenir to take home, plus a great map and guide to Chinatown, covering all the best restaurants and what to order.

This excursion was outstanding!! So much fun 😁. Bunny our host was tremendous and gave a very detailed history of the Asian people here in Sydney. Food stops were very good also.

A very informative day with Bunny on this food tour around Chinatown and Darling Harbour. She opened our group up to little alleyways and amazing eating places that, as a visitor, would never venture. THank you Bunny. The timing was enough for old legs and you certainly kept us all entertained with your knowledge, both trivial and factual. A good way to familiaries yourself with Chinatown.

Entertaining and interesting walk through Sydney’s Chinatown, while sampling some street foods. It was over lunchtime. I was thinking it would be our lunch that day. We were still hungry when it ended, so we stopped at the market where the tour started and ended. I suggest moving the tour so it ENDS at lunch time or dinner time and people can find a place in Chinatown to sit down and eat their meal.
