This is a fabulous tour! Our guide was Spencer and he was lovely. He was very knowledgeable and shared his love for his favorite venue. You get to go behind the scenes and fall the rooms, to the club areas, and on to the field (sidelines). Spencer gave us a great amount of history. Can’t recommend the tour enough.
Absolutely enormous !

This is a very interesting tour. Enter in through Gate 3 to check in. Tours are 75 mins and you are on the go the whole time, there is so much to see. We had Malcolm as our tour guide, a member for over 50 years so he had so many stories to share. We got to explore all over, the underneath area which is like its own city. You go all the way up to the member lounges and boxes. There is 125,000 members. With this cap there is 200,000 on the wait list and people sign up their babies so they can become a member by the time they are 30.
You can book online or turn up. Check out the Melbourne visitor guide as there maybe a discount coupon. There is also a shop if you want merchandise.
Anyway this is a must do tour, very enjoyable.
Awful guide, not worth the time spent.

It was boring, no anecdotes or interesting info about matches of players was given. Just description of the stadium. The tour guide was able to interact with only other Australians or British people. There were a lot of Indians like me and there was zero acknowledgement of other cricketing nations. For this old guide it appeared that Cricket was still a white man's game with other nations as mere interlopers. It was ridiculously boring. Do not go.
