This 4 hour Sloth and wildlife tour takes you around Santa Cruz as you look for the iconic Sloth, Monkeys , Caiman and many other animal species. Tour outline 0800 am hotel pick up and our guide will greet you in the lobby. Depending on your hotels location you will visit the protected area of Curichi La Madre, here our guide will take you on a 45 minute guided your looking for Sloths and Monkeys as well as learning about plants and the flora and fauna. 0925 depart El Curichi la Madre and visit the 187 hectare forested area of Botanical Garden, again our guide will take you on a guided tour where you will be looking for Sloths, Caimans, Monkeys and a huge assortment of different bird species. 11am depart the botanical gardens and visit the town of Cotoca, here our guide will show you the impressive town Plaza and you will look for Sloths as well as some optional food sampling. 12pm return to hotel. This tour includes private transportation, english or spanish speaking guide, 1 bottled water, hotel pick up/drop off and entries to all attractions. Please note that we never promise to see Sloths or other wildlife species. We have an excellent success rate for seeing Sloths however its important to note that they are in their natural environment and we are not visiting a Zoo.
Additional Information
- Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
- Important to bring repellent, camera, binoculars, passports, suitable walking shoes, long sleeve shirt, long pants, small backpack, hat , sunscreen etc
- During this tour you require a minuimum amount of fittness.
