Itinerary

Meeting Point

We will meet at the corner of America Avenue and Veracruz. You will find the building of 'Grupo La Paz'

Rucu Pichincha

8 hours

We will start picking up all the participants from their location (in case that is farther from the city we will find a meeting point). After buying your tickets in Teleferico we'll go up to the High station and then hike to Rucu Pichincha summit. Depending on your physical condition we will stop in specific places to take a breath. In one hour and a half, we will arrive at the Bear`s Cave and will prepare for the last hour of hike. All the way, we will going to see different kind of plants and animals. When we arrive at the rock basement we will take another breath to continue to the summit. This is time for pictures and enjoy the solitude of the mountain. This hike could be at least 3 or more hours to the top. and two hours returning to the cable car station. When we return to the first station of the Cable Car, we would find our transportation ready to go home. Other things to consider - On Raining Season our goal will be the Bear`s Cave for safety of all the participants.
