It was a great experience. A lot of fun and packed with adventures. Jose was an amazing tour guide. He explained everything in the beginning and advised us on what we’re gonna need before the trip and then kept on briefing us as we go. He was making sure everyone in the group is satisfied.

I did the 4 day/3 night Inca jungle trek to Machu Picchu. It was an impressive tour that was a lot of fun. The ratio of hiking and activities (mountain biking, rafting, zip lining, etc.) was just right. our guide Jose was simply great. a very friendly and open person who helped with any questions and problems and introduced us to the Inca culture. The accommodations for the 3 nights were also very good. For me it was the best part of my Peru trip

The activities were really fun, I enjoyed the whole itinerary. I didn't feel "solo" at all, the group and the guide were amazing!

10/10 recommend doing this adventure especially with José, who is a kind, informative & contagiously fun human being! We had such an eclectic & interesting group of travelers on this trek. Our group was made up of nine people from 6 different countries and 4 continents who were all so interesting. José did everything in his power to make sure our group had a comfortable and fun time! Overall the food was great and the hostels were decently clean along the 4 day journey to Machu Picchu. Thank you Encuentros Peru Adventure for the amazing memories!

We did the Inka Jungle with our guide Jose and it was an incredible experience. He was a very friendly, down to earth guy who knew a lot about the places we visited, and kept everything very interesting and exciting. Highly recommended!!

Wonderful experience from start to finish. Jose Louis and Gustavo as guides took the time and effort to ensure that all parts of the tour were orchestrated to perfection. Staying in the family home with numerous comfortable rooms the first night in the mountains really set the tone for the entire trip. The mountain biking, rafting and zip line were incredible. Overall this tour was an unforgettable experience and I would highly recommend it for couples or solo travelers.

I loved every minute of that trip. Cycling, rafting, zip lining was obviously awesome but we were also doing activities which weren't mentioned like picking and roasting our own coffee in the jungle or partying in Santa Teresa and Aquas Calientes. Jimmy is an awesome guide. He knows what he is doing and he is super fun. I never like to do the same thing twice but I'm considering to come back next year and do the same trek.

Went with my partner and we really enjoyed our experience! José was great, his English was amazing, he gave us thorough explanations along the way and was very accomodating. We were with a mix of young people and a family and he let us go ahead of the others as we wished (as we trekked faster with half of the group), this flexibility was greatly appreciated. We expected to do a lot more of the actual Inca Trail but this tour is more activity based, which was great anyways, and we later learned to get a tour that goes more on the commercial Inca Trail is much more expensive (hence why this is a more affordable tour). We also didn’t expect to get our own room as a couple, but José made these arrangements each night. Overall a great experience and would highly recommend as a more affordable, less trek-intensive option to see Machu Picchu.
