In Lima: Sandboarding Off Road Half Day!!

What an incredible tour! Our drive was about an hour-90mins from our hotel in Miraflores, and once there we had so much fun!! The instructor was so patient with us and so encouraging. He made us all feel comfortable and provided us with enough guidance that we were all able to do pretty well for a bunch of first-time boarders. Cannot recommend enough!

Great time on the sand boards. Very fun and professional group. They were very helpful in teaching beginners and take even better pictures of you request them to capture some. I highly recommend them!

Loved this experience! My partner and I had absolutely no experience Sand boarding and Abraham was so patient. He made us feel very comfortable and kept it fun. He also got amazing pictures! The location was not far from Miraflores where we stayed and the sand dunes were perfect. The driver was awesome and we even stopped and got some ice cream on the way back. I will never forget this experience and would do it all over again!

Had a great time learning to sandboard with Abraham! Never snowboarded before but with some coaching from Abraham was able to surf the dunes! We had the dunes all to ourselves and it was spectacular. Our kids (18 and 20) said after Machu Picchu this was the highlight of our trip to Peru. Would do this excursion again and truly recommend going with Nomada and Abraham.

The experience was a lot of fun for myself and my son. Alberto and Abraham were prompt with the pickup and patient with the instructions. I would highly recommend this activity.

Outstanding experience with my teenaged son (avid snowboarder). Our driver, Alberto, was prompt and friendly with just enough adventurous spirit to keep my son excited and me, nervous mama, calm. Abraham "Frost" was very patient with both us at steep learning curves and very different skill levels for sandboarding. I sledded. Though this isn't Ica/Huacachina, it is a very doable and worthwhile day trip to Chilca and still be back in time for a nice dinner. The sand dunes were otherworldly- it's like being transported to a different planet. We would do this excursion again in a heartbeat!

We had a great time and lots of laughs. Guide and driver were skilled and patient for those of us that had limited boarding experience. The desert was beautiful and quiet. It was a bucket list item for us and we had a lot of fun checking it!

Wow! This excursion was outstanding. Nómada takes you close to Lima and there is more than enough Dune to ride. The four wheel drive trip onto the sand was beautiful and worth the price on its own, but what really makes this 5 star are the people. The drivers and guides love what they do and it shows through in the fun we had together.

Went into the experience not knowing what to expect. The expectations were blown out of the water. Beautiful terrain and awesome group of guides. Our group ranged from beginners to experienced snowboarders, all of whom received the necessary guidance and were able to shred! Highly recommended these guys!

Eddie was a very good and experienced driver, and Abraham was very patient with the boys in our group, I did sledding and it was amazing experience and my nephew had lots of fun. The driver was on time and we were properly notified with all the details.

This was an amazing experience. The guides were super knowledgeable about the terrain and Sandboarding.
They were extremely patient. You cannot visit Lima and leave without this experience

This experience was surprisingly amazing! I read some bad reviews about Huacachina Oasis and decided not to waste 12 hours on transportation to go there. This Sandboarding experience not only just took 1 hour transportation, but also gave a much better sand dune experience!! It has amazing sand dune view (no other people at all!!!! Imagine your own private sand dune). because it is shortened transportation time, we were able to get but much longer sandboarding experience with private instructor. Huacachina’s sandboarding does not allow you to do stand up (need extra cost) and does not have proper instructor.
Our instructor is Abraham. He was very friendly and very experienced instructor. With him, we were able to take fantastic videos and photos.
Lastly, because it was half day, we were able to back to hotel around 2pm, took a nice shower and enjoyed sand-free lunch and ocean walk (remember, after sandboarding, your whole body will be covered by sand. If from Huacachina, you will need bear with all the sand for another 6 hour transportation before you can get relaxed)

Overall, definitely recommend this experience and recommend this operator.

Really lovely instructor and driver. He was so nice and helpful. I had a blast and he taught me well. Just have confidence in yourself and you’ll do well. He was very accommodating and giving. The bakery we stopped at was delicious! Please get something from them because it is fresh and authentic and just delicious! I was alone because no one else booked on the day I booked but I felt comfortable the whole time.

I never snow did snow board or sandboard before, but the guide was very helpful, patient and we had a lot of fun. (It's was easy to learn fast!) I recommend even four a family!!

This was a great trip and well worth the cost/time. Our guides from Nómada Boards and Experiences were excellent. We had a 4x4 driver to get us out to the dunes and a sand boarding instructor to teach us to ride. Highly recommend if you are looking for a cool 1/2 day tour.

Great sandboarding trip out of Lima. No hassle. Abraham is a great guy and will make you confortable on a sandboard in no time. I recommend this experience. We had a great time !
