Jack the Ripper Walking Tour in London

A Jack the Ripper Tour is to be a a little macabre but George the tour guide was full of all history, Jack the Ripper, English History and even US History...... I was todays old when I learned the Liberty Bell was casted in the United Kingdom.

George was absolutely excellent! If he have a history walking tour I'd pair it along with this. He seeps historical facts and knowledge with tact. 10/10 felt my money was well spent and would participate again. Thank you George for such a great tour! I learned lots! I also have more suspicious on who Jack the Ripper was....

George was a phenomenal storyteller and very generous with his time! He kindly offered to walk us to another landmark we were interested in seeing and made wonderful pub recommendations along the way!

Very knowledgeable and well-spoken tour guide. He knew all of the facts about the walk and offered to help with anything else we needed, like a god place to eat or directions after the tour. I would highly recommend the tour.

Excellent tour thanks to the extremely captivating and entertaining storytelling by our host George. The groups are kept to a small size (approximately 15 participants) so you really have a very personal experience. George does not only know about Jack the Ripper, but because he does other tours as well, is a walking Wikipedia of London and very helpful and approachable in answering various questions. Highly recommended.

If you want to learn a little history of London and how people lived, then take this tour. George was a great storyteller and knew so much about Jack the Ripper and the area.

We joined meet the street for both Jack the ripper and the ghost tour. Both tours were very interesting, we had the chance to see parts of London we didn't know and learnt about history. Our guide George was very knowledgeable and fun!

Honestly could not rate this tour more highly. George is the most knowledgeable, interesting and enthusiastic tour guide I have ever encountered.
Not only is George an expert in all things Jack the Ripper, as a local, living in the area his entire life he has a wealth of information about the area.
Loved that some of the same streets and pubs from that era are still standing which adds to the whole experience.
We were a family of 5 (from late teens to adults) and every single one of us came away talking about the tour all the way home.

We weren’t sure what to expect when initially booking the tour - but we couldn’t have been more pleased with the service. Our tour guide George was incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic throughout the experience. It was a great way to see the historically gloomy back streets of London, that we may have never seen without the tour. We highly recommend George and the ripper tour for an incredibly interesting evening.

I brought my 12 year old daughter along to this tour and she instantly took a shine to our tour guide, George . He was very engaging and had a loud, coherent voice so that everyone could hear. He made sure that the foreign group members understood what he was saying. It was easy to imagine what life would have been like in Victorian London with his story telling. 10/10 would recommend.

Loved the experience. Our tour guide was excellent. Learned so much about Jack the Ripper I had never heard. And got to walk around a section of London I might not otherwise have seen. The tour also ends near Brick Lane so you can experience dining out there. It was really great.

A great tour that takes you into a forgotten London. For the tour the weather really helped, dark, cold and drizzly. This brought the subject matter to life. You appreciated the hardship of London in the 1800's. (Dont be put off by bad weather, its a dark subject, but I know you will want dry warm weather).

Cova our guide was excellent. So much knowledge and passion for the subject. A brilliant personality, it was a joy to spend time with her.

George was a fantastic tour guide. Extremely knowledgeable, friendly and engaging. There's a lot of myth and legend about Jack the Ripper and while a lot of it we'll still never know, George helps separate the facts from the fiction but also adds some weight to the lesser know theories too. Highly recommended.

For anyone concerned with the distance/length of the walk, don't be. It's all very manageable.

Did this for my birthday with a group of friends. It was a great experience. Really informative. I think our tour guides name was George? He was great. Spoke really loudly so we could all hear and was full of information. Answered every question I asked with extra information! The tour wasn’t too long either. Enough to really see and imagine Whitechapel as it would have been at the time. But didn’t go on and on and I managed the whole walk in some sensible heels! Would highly recommend to a genuine True Crime fan like me!

Fascinating and deep. As well as being passionate about history, George brought to bear his theatrical gifts as a stand up comic to vivify the grizzly events of 1888. I was also impressed by his consideration — offering key words in foreign languages and cheerfully guiding a few latecomers on how to find us, by mobile, without missing a beat — as well as his compassion for the denizens of this poverty stricken area of Whitechapel in the Victorian era. We learned not only about the murders, evidence and investigations, but about the social history of this microcosm . . . Not to mention, the grim origin of the word “hangover.” I will see this part of London very differently now. My group signed up as a Christmas gift and George did us proud.

Our guide was really good. He really knows how to put you in the mood and his knowledge of UK history is impressive. To be honest, we didn’t want to leave… too many questions to ask.
